Family Fest DFW & Neo Soul Night Under the Stars are produced by Parenthood Awards & Scholarships Foundation, a non-profit 501c3 organization that is dedicated to producing family friendly, high quality events that offers artists, businesses and other local non-profits an opportunity to assist in the operations of the Festival. Our objective is to offer participating businesses and non-profit agencies an opportunity to be recognized, earn income, and raise funds and awareness for their programs and services…thus enhancing the quality of life for all of us. These organizations participate in the festival in three ways:
1. Service Provider
These organizations staff admission gates, parking lots, and sell wrist bands/tickets in the Kids Fun Zone. Funds are presented to each agency based on the number of volunteers they supply and the area they staffed. Applications are distributed annually in February / March to those agencies that are interested. Agencies are selected in mid March for that year’s Festival.
These organizations raise funds for their programs and services by selling food products. Selection is based on booth space and product availability.
These organizations are onsite to educate the community by distributing materials about their programs and services. Spaces are based on availability.
Since 2018 we’ve directly impacted local companies, artists and individuals in our community!
Our success has created a great deal of interest from many companies and nonprofit agencies. Agencies now welcome the opportunity to increase our community’s awareness of their mission, increase their volunteer base and raise money to fund various projects. It is our goal to involve as many organizations as possible.
